FEELWORLD has just released the SEETEC P133 PRO and P215 PRO – a 13.3” and 21.5” director’s monitor, respectively. These are being touted as an affordable solution for broadcast studio and live production applications. Both monitors offer a peak brightness of 1000 nits, 3G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 in and out, tally light, multiple power options, support for 3D LUTs, and more. Pricing starts at $540. While FEELWORLD is probably best known for their affordable on-camera monitors ranging between 5 and 7” in size, the company also produces larger screens that can serve as a director’s or studio monitor. A few examples include their 10.1-inch LUT11S and LUT11H, or even the rugged 21.5-inch SEETEC WPC215 that was on display at IBC last year. FEELWORLD SEETEC P133 PRO & P215 PRO – overview Both the FEELWORLD SEETEC P133 PRO and P215 PRO Broadcast Director monitors feature an 8-bit 1920×1080 IPS panel with a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. Of course, the main difference is their screen size. As their names suggest, the P133 PRO has a 13.3” display, while the P215 PRO is a 21.5” monitor. However, their contrast ratio and viewing angle also vary slightly. The P215 PRO offers better contrast (1000:1) and a wider viewing angle (178°) compared to the P133 PRO (800:1 / 170°).
